Philip William Small as director of chemistry at its Hungarian site. In his new position Dr. Small will assume responsibilities for all of AMRI’s European chemistry related activities including custom synthesis medicinal chemistry analytical services library design and production.

Boswell Professor of Neuroscience Emeritus at the California Institute of Technology. [1]Benzer was born in New York City to parents from Poland. As a boy he had his first experiences in studying biology catching frogs and dissecting them.

The Blue Streaks return just three players from last year’s squad which dropped its first five games and limped to a 4-17 record losing to Waynesboro in the opening round of the Valley District tournament. Last year HHS suspended three players before the season even began and things just snowballed from there as turnovers poor shot selection and a lack of cohesion sabotaged the team’s efforts on the floor. According to HHS coach Tim Meyers though that’s all changed. “I’m pleased with our chemistry right now” he said.

comGlass containers tubes and other laboratory equipment intended to be used to make crystal methamphetamine will instead be used by researchers at the University of Hawaii at Manoa’s Chemistry Department. The equipment valued at about $15000 was seized in June 2005 from a storage locker under the H-1 freeway near the Lunalilo Street offramp as part of an investigation into a meth lab operation in Mililani said Wayne Wills special agent in charge of the Immigration and Customs Enforcement office of investigations in Hawaii. The last defendant in the case Steven Echols 44 was sentenced last year to 10 years in prison. Rather than destroy the equipment the federal agency decided to donate it to UH-Manoa. “We’re very happy that the federal government thought of us in this situation” said Thomas Craven interim dean of the College of Natural Sciences.
