These features ofexploration significance are similar to those found at the nearbyAurora Mining District which contained 3200000 total ounces ofgold. As detailed in previous news releases Phase I drilling was designedto test the concept that an undiscovered gold-bearing hydrothermalsystem is responsible for the anomalous gold in groundwater found atFletcher Junction. To minimize exploration costs during early conceptdevelopment NGE positioned the Phase I drill holes along naturalaccess corridors on top of the Aurora Crater lava flows. Verticalpercussion drill holes successful identified the lateral movement ofanomalous groundwater; eroded altered rock; and alteredgeochemically anomalous bedrock.
