Norman said in the beginning of the year that the Cougars were often playing as individuals instead of playing as a team. That’s a complaint that didn’t come up after a lot of the most recent Cougar wins. "It’s probably taken longer than most teams I’ve had to get the chemistry together" Norman said. "But everybody seems to be on the right page and this is obviously the right time of the year. "Chemistry will be important at the National Tournament as the Cougars will need all their players to play well together and as a team on both ends of the court. It’s something they’ve done a much better job of at the end of the season as opposed to the beginning. "This team probably had a few more growing pains than most of them" Norman said.
